Beginning Monday, February 8th at 10:00 AM the Seekers at the Well group will begin “The Search” with Chris Stefanick on FORMED.org. The Search is an innovative video series that tackles the key questions of every human heart. In seven beautiful filmed episodes, Chris Stefanick and experts from multiple fields of science, medicine, psychology, philosophy, art and religion examine our place in the larger story of life. Whether you’re a practiced inquirer or a jaded skeptic, The Search will speak to you. You may be reassured by some parts, and challenged by others. Either way, you’ll find a lot here to think about. And when all is said and done, life’s questions demand to be answered. These sessions will consist of an ½ hour presentation from FORMED followed by discussion and prayer. There will be a book to go along with it. Gert Helvey will be leading these sessions. If you are interested in being a part of this groundbreaking series please talk to or call Gert. Everyone participating is expected to wear a face mask that covers their nose and their mouth, follow the guidelines for social distancing and to assist in sanitizing the area at the end of the session.
We finally have an outstanding opportunity for our high school youth to grow in their relationship with Jesus. The Windom family is opening their home at 28525 Shadow Ridgeway Road, to all high schoolers to experience the Formed program, “The Search” – the 7 week program featuring Chris Stefanick. “The Search” explores those fundamental questions we all ask ourselves. What is life all about? Why am I here? What is the purpose for my life? What happens when we die? The first session will be on Wednesday, February 3rd at 6:30 PM. Gert Helvey will facilitate the discussion after watching the approximately 25 min. video presentation. There is also a book (with each high schooler’s name on it in the back of the church) that can be read along with the sessions. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself or Gert.
